Job Description
Where you'll be working:
Location(s) : Stafford, VA
Setting: Center-Based
Population Served : 18 months-12 years
Years in Operation: Founded in 2018
What You'll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):
• Conduct behavioral assessments and reassessments to guide individualized treatment
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and behavior intervention plans tailored to each client
• Supervise and mentor RBTs, providing direct support and implementation feedback
• Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families on treatment goals and progress
• Analyze treatment data and make clinical decisions to drive meaningful client outcomes
• Collaborate with an all-BCBA leadership team in a close-knit, play-based and assent-based care environment
Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):
Caseload size: 9–10 clients
Billable hour expectations: 28 hours per week (calculated monthly for flexibility; PTO, holidays, and all-day closures count toward monthly
billable)
Support Structure:
• All-BCBA leadership team: Owner, Executive Director, two Clinical Directors, and Director of Training and Services — all accessible to BCBAs
• Dedicated admin team handles RBT scheduling, callouts, cancellations, insurance submissions, and authorization follow-up — BCBAs do minimal admin
• RBT training overseen by Director of Training and Services; structured week of onboarding with PPTs, modeling, BST, and shadowing; faded support as independence grows
• Open access to all leadership for clinical support and mentorship
Compensation & Perks (real ones):
Base salary: $85,000–$95,000
Bonus structure: Billable hours above monthly requirement paid out at $45/hour; additional bonus systems available for BCBAs
PTO: 15+ days
Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k
Paid Holidays: All paid federal holidays plus additional company holidays
CEU support: $400 annual stipend for CEU opportunities (conferences, courses, travel, etc.)
Supervision/mentorship provided: Open access to all BCBA leadership for mentorship and clinical support; no billing-tied supervision
Schedule flexibility / remote options: One flexible work-from-home day per week (available for appointments, etc.); no remote supervision;
consistent clinic-based schedule
Additional perks:
• Laptop and all clinical materials provided
• SEAS bucks staff reinforcement system (redeemable for snacks, merch, PTO, etc.)
• Quarterly team meetings with training and team bonding; monthly per-client team meetings
• Team outings (Kings Dominion, axe throwing, Funland, paint parties, and more)
• Monthly staff reinforcement budgets at each clinic
If it's listed here, it's real.
Why This Is a Green-Flag Clinic
This organization meets our standards in:
• All-BCBA leadership — clinician-owned and operated from top to bottom
• Comprehensive benefits package with generous PTO
• Strong RBT retention and a highly trained, experienced RBT team on the floor
• Minimal admin burden — a dedicated admin team handles the extras so BCBAs can focus on clinical care
• Consistent, no-travel clinic schedule that actively protects work/life balance
We don't certify everyone, and we definitely don't promote clinics we wouldn't work at ourselves.
You'd Be a Great Fit If You:
Are a credentialed BCBA
Care deeply about ethical, high-quality ABA
Want a consistent, clinic-based schedule with no travel
Value a close-knit team where leadership is accessible and actually knows your name
Believe admin support should free you up to do clinical work — not the other way around
Want to practice play-based and assent-based ABA in a setting that takes it seriously
Are looking for a stable, family-oriented workplace that protects your time outside of work
