Job Description

Company Description BrainStorm Tutoring, LLC is a mobile network of professional tutors who travel to clients’ homes to provide one-on-one instruction in a wide range of subjects, from K–College academics to standardized tests, languages, and music. The company’s primary service area is northern Bergen County, NJ, with a strong presence in local communities. Day-to-day tasks include assessing students’ math skills, designing tailored lesson plans, and delivering clear, supportive instruction in topics ranging from basic arithmetic through higher-level math, depending on experience. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide regular feedback to learners and families, and adjust teaching strategies to address individual needs. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of sessions, communicating scheduling and academic updates, and using online tools when needed to enhance instruction. Tutors are expected to uphold BrainStorm’s commitment to relationship-based education by fostering trust, motivation, and a positive learning environment.
