DescriptionWeyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for a Maintenance Mechanical Millwright team member for our Dodson, Louisiana Lumber facility. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.The pay will range from $24.93 - $41.66 per hour based on experience.Key Functions:Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installationRepairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment. This may include, but not limited to, such equipment as motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systemsIn downtime situations, must be able to analyze cause of breakdown with equipmentMust also determine and carry out maintenance of repair actions required to return the equipment to effective operating conditionsMust lubricate and clean parts, perform maintenance planning, layout work and welding as requiredFollow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to plant safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environmentMust be able to work independently as well as in a groupQualificationsAll applicants must have a high school diploma or GEDMust be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instrumentsExperienced in pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systemsExcellent skills in root cause analysisSkilled in all aspects of mechanical maintenanceResume detailing education and work historyMinimum two years of maintenance work experience and/or educational historySteady, documented work historyGood communication skillsMust be team orientedWillingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidaysWillingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipmentAbility to work in extreme heat and coldWillingness and ability to learn new jobs and skillsWillingness to work in Dodson, LA without requiring relocation assistancePost Application Requirements:Successful completion of pre-employment computer-based testingSuccessful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screenAbout Wood ProductsWe've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
